one of the upgrades i got was alloy diffs(y) came as a complete unit. not quite the same as putting a losi diff together
the spider gears have to go in all in one go:rolleyes: two of the gears have splines in them and the drive cups locate in them:unsure:(y)
the other two gears are held in place with a pin. there are four shims one for each gear.(y) it has two orings that go on the diff cup a tube goes over the diff cup. and unlike a viscose diff this one you load up with grease (im going to use lithium grease) and the tube holds it in. its pretty beefy gears are about 15mm in diameter (y) overall im quite impressed with it.:p

germans have always been innovative great engineers(y) well they have let the side down:unsure: no manual?
the original owner was a german few years back a french company bought so guess it down to them now
anyway enough of the moaning:LOL:
so been stripping more off the bug(y) took off the spur and pinion. bit off the roll cage so i had space to get the motor out.
took the plastic gear plate off and the brakes come off at the same time got the bearings out and put them in the alloy gear plate.
hope i don't have to change them in a hurry had to use considerable force to get them in:oops: i took a few pics along the way(y)

1546267242030.png
few things:unsure: 1 there is no constancy with the hardware torques cap heads and phillips
even the alloy engine mounts came with different hardware? old stock new stock?
the alloy tube that came with the diff is the same size as the gears so did not put it on:unsure:
when i order from ddm i first ordered diff with out the tube but they only had these which were complete
unlike the others that where just a a diff cup no gears or bearings so not a biggie i just got a few more spares(y)

Hey Dougstar!

When I received mine it too had weird oddities. I had to order a complete screw set as all different types were used everywhere. Not sure if this is just an FG thing or not.
