Alright guys....here is the stand I purchased from Amazon. The Axis Vekta Plate and Swivel mount are on the way, but wanted to show you the stand before modifications are made. Axis stand is really nice but comes with a price.
Blue Groove Modelsports makes a nice bench top version as well.

I heard Axis was going to stop making them but not sure this is true.
It is an extremely nice stand, one of those " You get what you pay for" cases.
 
I had some scrap aluminum laying around and I came up with this for my baja's and so far it works out really good for me.

It is well built , holds 80 lbs of Raminator without issues.
Nice to be able to spin your car around while working on it instead of either turning it around on a table or walking to the other side.
 
Well axis does not make one , or didn't at least last time I talked to them. I use a generic flat plate for mine , it works OK but I have to strap it to the plate. Maybe it is time for me to do a little Fab work.

If you find one for the Raminator please let me know.
 
Couple milk crates work well, got two cheap harbor freight moving carts under two make em mobile.....check out I'm a genius thread from me.
