So I recently bought a 5t and a dynamite kill switch to go with it. Everything works as it should when programmed to aux 3 the only thing is when I turn off the transmitter the engine stays running. I have an sr6200a receiver and a Dx6c transmitter. AVC is disabled, I tried reversing the channel, binding with switch in off, holding switch in off while binding, setting different end point, I even tried a different aux channel, all with no luck. I have been trying to figure out this out for a few days now any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Does that transmitter have adjustable frame rate? The only problem I had with one of their kill switches (I installed four of them) was a frame rate setting on my Spektrum Transmitter. Actually not a switch problem but a setting issue. I switched the framerate and works perfect. It did take me some time to figure this out.

Yes it does it has 11ms and 22ms I believe. I tried it in both and still nothing

Honestly without looking I can't give you an answer. I could look later when I get home after work.
I think when I finally figured it out, I probably tried all of them. Will try to remember to check later tonight for you.

A kill switch will not work with a spektrum avc receiver, you must get a non avc receiver like an sr515. I've been here myself and consulted with horizon hobby, they also agreed that it will never work as they too tried it for themselves.

Even if AVC is disabled? The specs for the kill switch itself said it would work as long as avc is disabled

Here is what I have. It is in a Losi 5T 2.0 with the receiver that came in the truck. I added the kill switch to that. No other changes.

Transmitter : Spektrum DX3R frame rate set at 16.5
Receiver : Spektrum® 6200A DSMR 6-Ch AVC Surface RX ( that was in the truck)

Seems to work fine.

For the life of me I could never get the killswitch to work with an avc receiver with avc off. So I just called it a loss and just went with the sr515. I'll play games for a little bit and then after that I'm done and just want it to work.

I have no clue on AVC , weather it is on or off I couldn't tell you. A lot of this new technology is not my best skillset so I just keep pushing buttons and if it doesn't work I go back and push more buttons.
. I was ready to just run it with no remote kill but finally won that battle. Don't want to even think about how long it took me to get it

So I just looked at my manual it says my radio does have 16.5 framerate but I don’t have the option on the transmitter itself. It only has 11 and 22ms for some reason. Anyone know a fix for this?.

Turn your electronics on and pick up your RC. In your hands move your RC from left to right like it is a matchbox car. The front wheels will self correct even if AVC is very low.

If i recall you fly Helicopters. Same same with the tail autocorrecting.

I will have to look into it a little more. Right now, things here are in storage. Too cold to play with toys and not liking it.

And no helicopters here , I did fly planes but for lack of a better term " sucked" at it. LOL
