That's what they make spring compressors for. :) Laymen shouldn't be doing brake jobs or Suspension work. You screw up, peoples lives are at risk.

Mike you can buy complete strut assemblies. If you looked at the box he pulled the strut out of its actually the brand/company that sells complete assemblies. Its called Quick strut. Other also sell complete assemblies. Google is your friend.

I'm in uk...and for 130quid i can get 2x shoxs...2x springs...2x top mounts...2x bump stops/covers ...?.
cheapest 'complete ' ones ive seen were 299quid :oops: .....yeah?

jus ordered me shoxs n ?...went with kyb shoxs+springs...new top mounts...new bumpstop/gaiter kit?....250 squids☹.....I'll get them made up n i'll fit em with me boy ?....if u bounce me car from front it jus carrys on bouncing:rolleyes: no damping at all...jus bouncy spring action.?
