Im still learing RC so bare with me. So the oval insert things. They are common to fall off i assume. I think 18mm is the standard? And as you change gearing and the frame bends and tweeks you swap to 18.5 or 19s?

My goal with my 5t is high speed street drag racing and large open dirt and sand high speed runs. I have on my test and build list... the 23cc ts cyl reed full mod currently on it (as a base spec for testing numbers), a kawi long rod +1mm stroker 5 port rcmk hybrid, a proline reeded g340rc, a ts cyl reeded rovan45, a obr470 casereed, a 460 ts cyl reed, my new 64cc ts cyl reed cunstom engine (only reason i got the 1.0 in the first place) and the final engine my 92cc king kong kasereed i wont talk about further till its in the car...

So the advice i seek is what inserts do i need to replace the stock 1 i lost already and what is the tallest gear ratio and insert size? For my 45cc build i want to challange it with the tallest.

Ok so keep in mind i know little to nothing about what i have. When i bought the car i asked the owner if he knew if it had any mods or aftermarket parts. He bought it used and just drove it till he killed the engines. So idk whats stock and whats not. But i looked at my inserts and see 19. Thus making me think it has a 19t spur aftermarket and 18 is stock?

I guess if you running a 29cc stock block 19 pinion would be the right place?? 5t is a massive car??
This car had just a 26cc fullie in it not even the 29cc so makes more sense. Might be a first gen? And a "1.5" has the 29cc?

Ok figure this one... with a obr 470 and a 30t gear what size inserts will i need? Obr only sells 24t normally?
