Sooo... I take the baja out for the first time in quite a while. It started and smokes ALOT. I rev it to clear it up, but it keeps dying. Now it wont start.

Did you try changing the plug. Also Reset the needles on the carb back to the stock settings and go from there.

Sounds like a fuel leak or a bad gasket. Take the carb off and inspect

Look little dude you didn't say what you did for trouble shooting. So you got the f'ing basics kid. If you have fuel going everywhere then obviously you have some gaskets leaking or something. Carb intakes probably loose. And I would say you are still a noob if you are asking questions like this and giving us crap because of your lack of info given to us in the first place.
order a rebuild kit for your carb and start there. also clean the carb of all debris so your not adding to your issue, most likely you have a worn out gasket or seal and its allowing air into your carb .

Alright so I got some more info, if I hold full throttle and start it, it will start and rise in rpms pretty slow, but it won’t hold an idle at all. Gotta constantly rev it
Carb or the insulator is loose??
probably dumping a poop ton of fuel and holding WOT is allowing it to start. but please read the help given to you as well
Is the Carb loose? Also check to make sure the spacer between the carb and the block isn't warped.

Insulator was loose, but not sure thats the problem, I mean it wasnt that loose. and fuel is leaking out from the carb everywhere

Yeah man... thats what im gonna do. I am picking up my pipe tomorrow and I will grab a rebuild kit

Yeah freshly clean, yeah the choke was off
just a thought, and its an easy mistake to do mate,
but you say freshly clean filter, do you mean you cleaned and re oiled it ?
if so then possibly over oiled the filter
,and if the insulator is loose in any way ( you said above it was slightly loose) then its gonna suck air at some point between cold and hot
,

If the insulator was too lose it wouldnt have fuel everywhere, the carb need the pulse to pump fuel. Prime it till your blue in the face and it wont put a hardly any fuel out with out the pulse line hooked up.
Back to baby steps. Did you check and make sure your needles are set to factory?
And did you try starting it with out the filter on?
And clean that filthy pig boy, you don't want it leaking on your parents Persian rug.
