Engine shroud breathable cover outerwear

Instead of buying separate outerwears for the PS and filter, has anybody simpy just used this to cover the entire thing? http://www.tgndistributing.com/baja-5t-sc-pre-filter-shroud.html

It seems like a great concept, but there is engine heat that need cooling and the carb needs to breath. You can seal the holes around the body through sheet metal fabrication like I did. simple is better, just a little more work

tbh I`d jus do the engine mesh mod..........ok....thought u ment the engine cover they do......

if you really want to get trick, but aluminum window screen , cut to fit the bottom of the engine case and JP weld it in place. it works very well

I gota bit carried away with the araldite glue......and managed to glue up the fly wheel.....

That shroud is for the electric version, not the gas

And by looking at the second picture you can see the side with the gas cap is open so you would still need ps and air filter pre-filters. It does look like it would keep the inside of your rig a lot cleaner tho
