Exhaust coupler upgrade

Hello, Does anyone recommend an upgrade for that blue silicone exhaust coupler with the hose clamps used to attach the tuned pipes. It seams mine always tears, leaks etc. There has to be a better system out there. Thanks.

I bought some silicone hose from a 1/1
Car shop ✔ works well and it's a virgin fit??? no hose clamp required ?

Mmmmm, that was so genius that i missed it, haha . I saw these hard anodized clamps for sale was curious if anyone used those.

My losi tuned pipe was such a poor fit I ended up just welding it together. Im yet to have any issues. I wouldn't recommend it if its a exposed pipe, prone to damage in accidents.

Yep same here.
I made mine longer than the stock bit to be sure to be sure.
Fingers ached for a week after finally getting it on.

Same with me on the dbxl. Bought some hose, slid it on. No clamps needed.

The first bit I bought I got from the spare parts shop - cost $30.
The bag had the manufacturers details on it so I got more from here

Same thing cost $5.
They have all shapes and sizes bends etc. a lot cheaper.

Unfortunately I don't remember but I measured my Jetpro then bought the size to fit.

Rekon about 3/4 inch inner diameter ? mines out hand for a while ???

sured mine would be 1 inch exact internal.

Pretty sure mine was either 3/4 or 7/8.
Just make sure you don't get it loose.
You're better to get it a little smaller and then have to wriggle it on.
You can heat it in hot water to make installing easier then it will shrink back when it cools.

This may be a dumb question, but is there a difference in the grades based on color, like i nooticed there are black red and blue available.

Colour makes no difference.
They're all mulit ply which is the main thing.
