Has anyone ran into this issue. Im putting in fastlane drive cups with a new billet housing and billet cups.. When putting in the pin on the gear side, its so tight you cant turn it. Its like that on all three gear sides.Any thoughts. Thanks
 
FLM is dogshit. This issue has been happening for a few years now and they haven't done anything about it. The only solution is to grind the cups out to make it looser. It won't "wear in"
 
Curious, what platform?

I have bought and installed some FLM stuff a long time ago on a 5T platform. I have bought a few more sets since then over the years as recent as last summer, but have never installed.
 
also they don't fit the stock axles, you can't get them in the cup. don't know if i should just use the stock ones.

Except I have and I KNOW. You got yours in 2019, the issue arose in like 2020. And it isn't a little snug anymore, the fecking things won't even move in the cups
 
Great and I bought a set of forever cups for my 5ive b build, was going to install them during build, I guess I better check to see if they fit, if they don't John at Detroit will be getting them back.
First hurdle past, my stock shafts fit fine in the set I got from Detroit Performance RC, ONLY part left will be the issue with fitment in diff cans.

Nope, i used the complete Baja cups/shafts/5mm pins set. They don't fit properly and the pins are too tight and unusable

I must have gotten parts from a better batch. Don't want to jinx myself, I have FLM's in my latemodel.
