lol, you gotta get the next size up like i did,but i wear mine under my normal clothes,it makes me feel.....nice lol.
at least if someones looking up mankini on google they will get this thread lol.....is the bug together ready for you to rip it up???
i was going to just put a piece metal plate on the fg as a part to keep it from wheelying,i seen someone make one for a baja with a 50cc engine and it worked at treat.it just curled up at the end so it coasts of the ground, would be cool on tarmac when getting dark, plenty of sparks...you ouit at the weekend with ya fg???if so,try get some video because if you only done a few tanks it will get stronger.the last time i went out it seemed a little better again, but i think its at its peak now,i don't think it could have anything else.

brilliant lol

the bugs allways ready mate but does need a couple of things sorting before the next outing rear diff bearings are shot to peices and got more play than kid on haribo but they have been on the bug from day one so over 3 years of abuse i cant moan,,i also need to sort the rear hydro the plastic crappy conector keeps letting go but ive got a metal one and new bearings for the diff so will be doing these over the weekend and its 100%

vids are hard mate usally out alone and controling the bug while trying to vid is a tad hard plus with the great weather everywheres under water at the mo and i don't need a couple of dead servos or rx at the min due to spunking all my spends on the on roads carbon filter

i just read that in the previous post about your onroad with slicks beating my km at a offroad race lol, thats probably true. it doesn't go too bad really just need to get a few gears sorted for the diff but have no interest in it whatsoever as im using the fg at the moment. Ive neglected the ht2, but im taking it out over the w/e if the weather gets abit better but i don't mind a little settled water,
Yes 3 years is good, they served their purpose.. cant moan at that and regarding the filming issue, try tapeing the camera/phone to your tx.

hey, what peak rpm's did you see on the ecu the last time you ran it ?? i bet some good numbers. if you ran the onroad wheels and stock beetle gearing it would be crazy ....

im running the adapters so cant fit fg wheels that easy anymore but have got a new set of hpi wheel without tyres that maybe getting tarmac busters or hostiles but to be honest ive got the on road for tarmac and i prefer that,,nothing stoping me from fitting the 29cc and red race to the on road though that would pull a good gear ratio and be wicked fun

the last run with the bug on map 12 when out with dwarfy i think it hit around 19000 odd,,the 23cc has hit 21600 on map 15 running 20/44 and its rapid and not as under geared as i thought it was going to be and running out of room very fast still pulling hard and still good on fuel,im going to get another red race kit for it in the future i think and maybe a new pipe and a 2 speed,,but for now im looking foward to seeing what a £110 pounds worth of carbon fibre air filter does other than look good lol

19000 rpm, thats ridiculous for a 29.5cc .. £100 for an airfilter, i want a carbon f1 deffuser too for that price, but quality costs mate lol.
new pipe for which car? oddie uses the meilke bigp[ower pipe,i bet thats good but i guess he must use it to get a good torque curve too for racing. just buy a bigpower explosive bashing pipe that revs to kindom cum.( and you will lol)
obr have just released their new tuned engines on nos!!! something to think about, for me...

also if you want to look 'solid' while your bashing and to show the kids how 'gangsta' you are you need one of these...look authentic???????/ lol, what the hell, have you just been stamped on lol.

and the pipes for the on roader ive finished the bug thats done and needs nothing else other than a wheely bar or like you said a bit of thick alloy to stop it lifting the front it may just end up a bit like a rear bumper i like the idea of it sparking as its flat out on wot

so do you think the bug hitting 19000 is ok or should it be hitting more or is it hitting more than you thought it would

ive seen the new obr's that are coming they have upped the game mate big power big fun but for us fg owners its not needed they can barely handle 6 hp lol to much power is just a waste all wheelys and wheel spin isnt fast in fact my bug was quicker and easy to drive compaired to the new lump

this is the pipe im after for the on road bm im in love with carbon at the mo and its on the i need it list with the red race kit

the dragon is sick my friend,id love a tat like that, i also like the jap sleeves, very nice. how much would a full sleave like the one you have cost at the tat shack studio?

i think the 28.5 hitting 19k is real good. i was thinking it would be high being an oddie as ive read about the 23's and 26's,i know the 29.5 woulnt d be as high but im impressed. was that on tarmac??

yes the fg's do struggle with big power engines but its all part of the fun, mine reminds me of a small mini 5t with twin engine when it gets all crazy, wheeling and acting demented, just smaller, alot less power, alot less revs and...actually nothing like a 5t with twin

normal tattoo prices are @50-70 per hour and a full sleave like mine is about £1000-£1500 im having my whole top half of body inked from the neck down to my arse,,,im having a tattoo free couple of months as wifeys having her sleave done at the mo

i haven't had the bug on tarmac flat out yet i don't see the point as ive got the beemer for tarmac and the bugs a dirt female dog that was on grass with dwarfy when it hit that but its only had 1-2 tanks as of yet so more to come from the oddie bug once its freed up i haven't given it a all out hardcore run but soon once i feel its been run in a bit more and gets put on 32/1 mix i think its going to be a different beast its still very tight and its very hard to hold back and not go wot to much for to long,i cant afford to kill it and i sure as poop cant afford to replace it at the mo,,and any spends are going on the bm now

i know what youre saying, but would be great to see what rpms it would pull with the smaller wheels, and on tarmac would be higher anyway.( i know it don't really matter but im a geek to all this stuff, want a tto myself to see max rpms) i bet it could pull around 20k in that setup. stock gears, small on road wheels on some smooth tarmac.it would get to the top speed within seconds if you could get it to hook up..
i know your bug has got more to come.mine wasnt as much of a handful at 2 tanks as it is now at 5 or 6ish and i twisted up my diff on the 2nd tank too.
i m going to take a trip to shell in a minute to get some good fuel for the cars, will try 30;1 ratio and 22/42 for some desent topend on the grass field.

lol, i was jut reading the thread, wow ..i didnt think youd change your mind, you was very sure that youd never use one but you know it makes sense unless youve got a 300 meter run up to build your speed up lol...
it so much more fun,the video i did 2 weeks ago when i didnt have the bar was just on and off the throttle, even when trying to go flat out but now i can give it full beans.

i took the marder and hgormann out yesterday, i got 22/42 and a 17 lay again and it was wheelting like mad, even with the bigger baja wheels but i admit on dirt it took a little while to come on the pipe.
ive got a video of the hormann after the bash, its a mess mate, the biggest smash ive ever had!!! a big shunt into a huge concrete wall,wot... i was well pi55ed off but stuff happens.

i still hate them lol but for that money i thought its worth a go and to be honest it don't look as bad as some do and hopefully i can go flat out without the wipeout

i want to see a video, it should work a treat as its a proper one, mines a 'throw together' job, but still works good.
show us some wot with the bug while the front stays in the air, while hitting 19k revs lol,

haven't tried yet mate been a bit under the weather and unable to play but im resting up and hopefully going to try it on saturday its well made and feels sturdy enough and was a bargain ive tried lifting up the front to see what sort of lift its going to allow and as long as the diff plays ball and drives both rears together it should be great fun and id love to see it flat out with the front up

mine wont last too long, if i see one going for that price id snap one up,yours looks alot better then most which i think are for the the bling effect as we well, ive seen some of the thicker ones going for £60 - £70 , no waY AM I PAYING THAT FOR A WHEELIE BAR.
theres a good largescale petrol powered drag racing scene in the u.s, i like the ones they use or drag racing the fg's, they are longer and lower then the ones made to keep the front end in the air, they just push the car back down as soon as the front end coming up,mine worked like that for abit, then i bent abit and sat at more of an angle.

UPDATE
Took the fg out for a bash with the lads yesterday. i have just replaced the carb diaphram and give the carb a good clean out so was expecting it run run smoothly, (also recieved my lightened flywheel from ddm but hadn't had time to fit it) the car was ok for the first few minutes but then started bogging real bad on the bottom end, tried to adjust the lsn but it was still bogging. when i got home i took the gear plate and clutch bell off to inspect to find one of the clutch bearings had shattered , the clutch carrier had snapped in half and the clutch bell had bent so it wasnt exactly round anymore lol..,thats why the thing was bogging.

i know that with more power there is more stress on components , a broken diff cup and stretched plastic rodend when i ran the mmr pro mx and oddified 26 redhead and now the obr is in there ive had a twisted mangled diff, snapped the clutch bell and yesterday bearings and carrier broke. i don't mind fixing and upgrading these things so don't mind it having the extra oomph of these tuned engines .
recently ive been thinking that I favour my fg so hardly use the baja and hormann. because of this im thinking of selling up all my stuff ,the 4 buggys and all spares ,will probably keep the tonegawa servo and 4pk transmitter for the next project .it seems a waste to have these sitting there doing nothing when they could be used by someone else , personally im not into the whole shelf queen thing so not interested in keeping them to look at and bling up so think they may need to go! atm im not spending as much time driving these things, i was alot more serious and committed last year and had alot more spare time on my hands .i just want something i can take out for an hour every fortnight etc when im bored or when the weather is nice so just something to mess about with and have a bit of fun and a laugh ,nothing serious .

id like to put all my efforts into one project that i can put my time into and somethings thats good for the stuff i tend to do ,we bash on huge fields and at mansfield desert at the moment ,both places where you can hold wot forever if wanted. . at the moment im still thinking but i want something that handles well and can handle a powerhouse without falling flat on its face or to bits .On the motor and pipe side of things i want something with more gutts then my current engines.
