Cool, I think they will fit in the back without any mods. but it might be too long for the front.

Can you try it in the front and let me know? Also see if the chassy bottom out before the shock. I saw some on ebay for $25 bucks/each and would consider buying it, if it fits.

I'll give it a shot and take some pics!

I tried on the front, no pics, but the shock is too big for the upper arm. It rubs, everywhere. It's too long as well. Bummer.

Thanks, I'm looking at a very well design shock that is a direct drop in for the front only. I don't like the FG shock design and heard that they leak too.

I have had my FG for 3 years and the stock shocks have never leaked a drop... Just a heads up.

Trip..

Thanks for the heads up. I read some where that they also leak but can't recall.

Can you please tell me the eye to eye length of the front FG shock?

CSP..That's a great find....I checked it out...For the firehammer MT ya need
2 long & 2 short shocks..And stiff springs on the shocks...But you got the buggy
so I think I read you need the short shocks...any way with new stiff springs and 4 shocks
with shipping It come's to $84 bucks USD....Thanks for sharing...Slawhammer

Yup, same here. Only shocks out of all my models that didn't leak.

With the DTX Buggy you can use FGMT shocks for the rear but you cant on the front. I think I need to get marder shocks for the front but not sure? I did need to make my own spacers for the rear to stiffen the springs but, I can now drop the buggy from the waist and the rear sucks it up and dampens real nice. The front, not the same.... I am trying to fill them with grease and see if there is a difference.:chef:

I did the drop test too, waist high. The LST shock suck it right up while the front make a loud clank. I though I cracked the tile floor.

WOW!!! If I dropped my FG from waist high, my truck would bounce off the ground and probably flip upside down! It is a pogo stick...

Trip, I will make a small video of the MT dropped to show you. It should not be a pogo stick. Stiff but not bouncy.
