Newbie here,

Used to race 1/5 scale fg on road car back in the day. Like a fool let the car go thinking I was never gonna use it. I was thinking of getting back i to the sport. Have an oppurtunity to buy two 1/5 scale vehicles ... One is an Fg Leopard 2wd and the other a Smartech monster truck with parts coverted over to fg parts ... Both vehicles come rtr with battery charger.

Any thoughts if I should jump into these.

Sorry was that guy. Yes package includes two 1/5 scale trucks .. 1 Fg Leopard and 1 Smartech monster truck with converted parts to fg, a radio, a charger and spare some spare parts..

I'm no pro in the rc game but they seem old. Like retro kinda deal. Reminds me of the white tub chassis from early to mid 90s. Just my opinion of course.

You can make anything fly, spares might be your biggest issue. Check with your local suppliers or places you are prepared to pay postage from and that’ll help you make a decision. Also how much will you’ll run them.

Thats what I was thinking ... Don't want to be on the hook for museum pieces.

If you can find a decent fg parts supplier then not so bad but I think $825 CAD is too high ....more like 700

The leopard is like the only FG model you won't find parts support anywhere but Europe. Not sure if every part on the smart tech is compatible with FG.
