HiTec D840WP Not working (need Help)

Hello All
Ive been running a HiTec D840WP as my steering servo in my FG Sportline 4WD. Its been great but only lasted about 6 months so far. I locked up in a turn over the weekend and since then it only turns to the left and does not even turn back to center. It just stays there. Is this something i can fix?? Or is there something i can check if open up the servo?? It works but only in one direction.

Some teeth may have broke off ,not allowing it to go back to the center ,or it could be one of the wires have broke ,loose
conection ,check those issues!...

Take it apart and inspect it, I believe DDM sells rebuilt kits for these servos

If DDM doesn’t have parts, then try ServoCity.

or is ur servo horn is feked?is it a plastic one?

Hitec has a great warranty service. Call them and they will likely have you send it in for a replacement or to get fixed. As stated though, open it and look fo see what the issue is
