Took the engine out... this is what I found

This was the outside bearing @Cupton79 pointed out.....
I need help finding this bearing, I have a fast eddy bearing kit. But this one isn’t in there.

This bearing is pretty beat up....

The bolt holding on the pinion gear was super tight. No idea how this bearing popped out like that.
can you tell me what that little number on the bearing sheild says? if you tell me that ill be able to help u out. also that clutch looks almost new! messed up bearing.jpeg

@Z.hb71
The number is - 6902z
Here http://www.teamfasteddy.com/losi-5ive-t-clutch-bearing-set/
Or if u just want 1 https://www.fasteddybearings.com/15x28x7-rubber-sealed-bearing-6902-2rs/
Literally the same thing. Oh tip, you can use that code because it's a size code for that bearing, they are standard, you type it in,and there it is, no Measuring required! Or for say you want fast Eddy specific bearings, type in for say u need a 6202 bearing, just type in "6202 bearing size" and then find the size, go onto fast Eddy's site https://www.fasteddybearings.com/metric-bearings/
Find that size, click on it, and there it is! It's the same RC bearing, made by the same people, on the same website, just you can buy individual ones and they are much cheaper because they don't say "rc specific" even tho there are LITERALLY THE SAME lol. Hopefully that I explained that decently and hopefully that can help u in the future!

How come buying just 1 is $1.99
But buying the kit that comes with 2 bearings is $13.99???
Are they different ?

Update...

Since a couple days ago I crashed my ORANGE 5iveT, it’s down with a broken A arm.

I took off the clutch and slapped it on the green one.... it’s rolling super smooth as of now.

These pictures are from my original orange 5iveT. I think it need a new clutch.

I ordered a few upgrades all for the orange 5iveT.
The green one will stay stock and any upgrades will be hand me downs....

As of now the green $360 5iveT is rolling super smooth. No more grinding or clunking sounds.

I'd get a FS clutch, lasts longer ?

I did all this a long time ago. Just forgot to update the thread ??‍♂️

So the culprit of the grinding was officially a bad bearing in the clutch housing. I took the housing off my other engine and fixed up the green one. It’s rolling smooth no more grinding sounds.

the orange 5iveT got a new clutch housing and center mount upgrade
