Yeah... a little windshield wiper humor.

Nice, is it just me or does the third pic looks like it has windscreen wipers?

This thing looks so realistic that a little windshield wiper humor completes the bashing look.

Jeeze that looks good! Does the alloy come as standard or did you add that at a later date?
Keep the pics coming and vids if you can get them.
J.

I added the alloy arms after. Otherwise the truck is stock.

i recentley purchased a sq baja thinking there was no king motor bajas in the country. im a bit gutted because the king motor looks so much better. if anyone buying an sq please don't even run it until you have changed the shock oil the oil that comes as standard is way to thick i had a rear shock bend after 5 mins. also swap spure gear for a hpi one the sq one lasted about half hour. the rear diff is also an issue mine had very little oil in it which caused it to strip one of the bevel gears ive replaced the whole diff with a hpi one. has anybody out there got anymore tips on this model.

From my experience the King Motor is the best quality clone. It has issues as well, but they have been improving their quality over the last two years.

Hey... I decided to order some of their upgrades but their shipping costs is a total joke... I ordered stuff for 51£ and it all ended up with 91£!!! For some alloy??!! I cancelled the order..

I got a Rovan Baja shipped from China to Sweden last week, a gigantic parcel... The shipment ended up at 88£... So I wonder how they figure at rcmodelz when they want 40£ from Uk to Sweden?? Retards... :nono:

Another thing is that they seem to have enormous problems to get in touch with??? I sent an email to them, asking if they would sell me a KM Baja with shipment to Sweden. It took 2 weeks to get a reply?! And their answer? Yes we do... Nothing more. As a said before, retards... I still haven't got an answer how to make the deal? I think it is a month now or so... Good luck with your business.

Hey ICONIC,

You should try DANLC4's store.

Dan has all the hop ups you'll need.

Buyer beware. I noticed that there are sellers on www.ioffer.com that are copying ads from ebay and listing them for 1/4 of the price. I know some people that got ripped off by these people. Be careful! They even take payal and send you something like a diecast car to show paypal that they sent the item. So you can't get your money back. I noticed that a lot of these are from indonesia.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Hi all , this will be my first post on this forum. I came here from another "buggy" site that for some reason HATES this King Motors brand.....so I went looking around to find a forum that will let me talk about ANY brand of large scale gas RC.

I must admitt I didnt know that there were other manufacture of these 1/5 scale gassers because the main stream talk is always about HPI.....and these are nowhere near cheap prices they are charging. My local hobby shop sells the 5t for $1399 and the rtr 5b for $1099 and that aint chump change to anyone.

I broke down and bought a hardly used 5b SS with futaba 3PM controller for a good price compared to new...but if I would have known about the KM truck I would have bought it as that is really the style I wanted compared to the buggy.

Just because the KM buggy and truck look like the HPI ones , why are these labeled "CLONES" , I don't get it? If im buying replacement parts from HPI , then they are making money off thier own RC's and KM's too.

Anyway , very nice to meet you Dan , my name is Matt and you just shipped out my brand new KM buggy last week(ebay auction)...it arrives here Weds. I bought it for my 16 yr. old son for X-mas this year.....I cant wait to see the look on his face when he see's it. We have over 11 rc's in the 1/10th & 1/8 scale nitro & electric....but we have always wanted to step up to the BIG scales , but of course the price has always held us back.

Now we can run them together and have a blast...which as I think some guys have forgotten about the real reason they are in this sport.

So I personally would like to say THANKS for stepping and being a dealer in the USA for the King Motors brand of gassers and bringing the price down to where we ALL can enjoy large scale RC's.

Matt

PS , I will be buying one of the KM trucks soon..and I will be buying it from you when I do.

Matt,

Enjoy it... these things are a lot of fun! Post some pictures. :-)

Dan

OOPS....Sorry Dan , I bought my King Motor Baja KSRC-001 23cc Buggy 1/5 Scale , from heathobby as you are saved as my favorite seller for the T1000 truck...sorry for this mix up , but I still we'll be buying from you when I get the cash together for the T1000.

This is the buggy I bought....heck of a deal when you consider what all came with it and compared to the RTR HPI Baja 5b package for $1099 .

Sorry for my bad English and see ya

Please stay on topic.

The point of this thread is for clone owners to list their first hand experience and get advice from other clone owners.

There are hundreds of people who have bought King Motor buggies. This is a place where they can list their personal experience an give others advice.

We understand peoples pasion on clone vs not but this in not the thread to discuss it.

Thank you.
BTB:)
