Some paint on the bash body turned out decent, couldn't resist, I love black, nothing too extreme, some metallic black and a little translucent candy red for lights..still have to back the taillights with gold and then black to hide it. Thinking some custom decals to go with, but unsure.. The other panels are going to pitdawg when I get my spot in line.

I'm loving this build. Can't wait to get the engine! Anyone running any Hilantronics 8000 servos? Curious for a throttle/brake servo, or run a hitec 845wp. I know @Haric is running a hitech1005 for steering, I'm gonna grab the 1100wp, its the same but waterproof and red. Their a bit pricey, but 1 and done on that.

Don't you have to run a separate battery for that servo? I suggest you get the Spektrum S9120BL @1454oz on 8.4V.

Not 100% sure. Was why I was kinda asking, I'm basing off from other builds I've seen but don't want to go a cheap route.. not that the Spektrum you listed is cheap, I personally (not knocking spektrum products)am just not a spektrum fan, everything I've bought seems hit or miss. I run ProBoats gas and electric and little 1/10 with all Spektrum electronics and I say their no better than any other China brand like hobby wing and such. I have a new futaba 7px I bought just for this build. So I'm seeking suggestions. I did read on that servo though and it won 2020 1/5 world buggy class. and 1454oz is impressive

Just run the higher voltage battery and a bec to power everything else.

Only one batt powers the whole rig. The hitec 1005 servo runs on the killer bee 3600 14.8v batt, & killer rc voltage regulator.

Those servo mounts are good for the hitec 845’s, hilantronics, savox.
If you get the hitec1005 kit, it comes with turtle racing mounts

Gotta watch the wiring with that bad boy 6.5 amp stall current. Is a very impressive servo though.

Steering servo finally showed up today, this thing is huge, picked up a set of mounts from Matt Olson Designs, with the weather being shite my engine got hung up in Ohio?so lookin like Monday for me

A little reminder if you buy the rcmax front billet diff case make sure you install the gears right or your wheels may go in opposite directions...lmao!!!...so had to back track a little ?‍?‍..but all good now. I'm thinking black outerwears too being the oil is bleeding through this red one already

Cutting the body panel to line up perfectly with the velocity stack should be fun on this body. I like my hole tight? no weatherstripping

I'd check out the body edging on DDM for your cut out. Think it looks pretty nice. Just got a pile of it for the 5ive t

Received my Hilantronics 8000 servo for throttle/brake today and my fuel vent valve, gonna seal the breather hole in the fuel tank cap next. Waiting for my other goods to show. Delays! Delays! WTF! Weather is just fekin wicked this week!?Braaapp!!!

Here we go body's cut engine looks sick as fook???..may just run the red outerwear for now. Not really digging that the reds don't match between the shockwears and outer wears?..its driving me nuts. Still waiting for my final orders from ddm to hook up these servos and get my electronics wired in due to the weather☹.. just picked up some VP c12 go go juice at my local powersports shop. Broke it down to 17.60/gal here for 5gal can in NY. Ordered Castor 927 for blood and should be here monday. Warmer Temps hopefully next week more pics and maybe a run in vid coming soon!?! ?
