Well lockdown and COVID has wiped out all planes I had this year. However my brother has kept me busy. He’s been buying salvage cars for me to fix up (how kind?)
so I thought I would share some of the things I have been up to
most recent was a Vw transporter multivan Which was involved in a front end collision.
here are some photos along the way
the day it arrived
then the strip down commenced
Then made a list of parts which included
bonnet/hood
new wing/fender
New front panel
new bumper and grills
new radiator
new Intercooler
new a/c radiator
new power steering bottle ect ect
then the parts arrived and we could mock them up to see if it all fits and straighten any damage out.
Then it was time to prep and paint all the parts that needed painting

Then after a few days drying it was time to try and fit all
Not the best photos I know but for a home job I don’t think it’s too bad
