so im curious to hear or see if anyone has been involved or seen any large scale accidents.
I let my uncle drive my 5ive t yesterday, he has zero experience with rc so I showed him the ropes with the controller and he said got it plus it was a very large field so I felt it was somewhat safe. He got a little cocky with driving it after watching me do a few fly by's. Well he made it one lap around the field heading back to us coming in hot, well he ended up going about 35 right into his 11 year old son. It was an honest accident and over confidence in handling the truck. My cousin went about 4 feet in the air in a plank position in less than a second. I couldn't believe it and had zero time to ask or react to what he was doing...my cousin is ok tho a little banged up but fine. Anyone else seen or have any experiences lol
 
Crashed mine many many times, all part of it.
Pleased your cousin is OK, my son keeps getting me with his 1/10th scale and he broke a servo horn on my Tamco when I let him have a go.
I've wrecked all sorts crashing, hubs, wings nearly ended up in a river with the Baja when it cartwheeled over an embankment (didn't know river was there).
 
I broke my friends big toe doing a speed run with a Hpi rs4 brushless back in the day.It had a glitch and swerved over head on with his toe.Broke it clean in half.
 
Glad to hear everyone is ok. My story doesn’t involve people but it does involve a kill switch not hooked up properly. Had my 5ive revving in my driveway when I decide to test it kill switch. Turn off my remote and instead of my motor dying it went full throttle. As I crapped my pants and tried to get my remote turned back on it went full speed in my neighbors Cadillac two houses down. Was wedged so hard under the car I had to get a jock to lift the car up. It poop off as it broke the top of the spark plug when it went under the car. Well my neighbor came out as he could hear the high rev’s and crash. He was very gracious as I jacked up his car and evaluates the damage. Well I immediately went and bought him a case of beer and in the end it cost me $900 in repairs to his car. Nothing really with the 5ive but man. Test the kill switch with it facing the wall. My kid was standing next to me just going OMG.

I test my kill with the wheels off the floor for this very reason. Sounds like you had an understanding neighbor.
