Yes travel will do the trick.

I already adjusted travel, did nothing. Let me clarify the prob... I need to hit brakes to return to idle.

Carb shaft could be sticking. Check carb springs and throttle linkage springs.

Which transmitter you have? On my spektrum dx5r I adjust my throttle sub trim and works great.

Wouldn't resetting the servo horn on the servo do the trick?

Gunna say sub trim as well. Had to set it for my 2.0 as it did the same thing
