I musta pushed it too hard with this heat. Gallon and a half on it, probably shoulda swapped for a fresh spring when I had it open.

Where does this soot come from, the bell? FS clutch.

Ok cool. I was thrown off a bit by the black soot. I woulda expected like metal filings or something. First time running enclosed clutch setup. Never had this happen before.

its clutch material . In the old days that would be asbestos.
