Does the larger spur in the 2.0 give it more pick up off the line? I'm a little confused why they changed the gearing.
As I understand bigger spur smaller pinion faster acceleration and smaller spur bigger pinion more top speed

Ok thanks. Kinda figured as much. Do you guys who have run both see any noticeable difference in pick up with the larger spur? I noticed Modified RC sells diff setups to accommodate the larger spur on 1.0's. Wondering if it's worth considering.
I can only speak for the 2.0 and with the 62 spur and a 22t pinion I got 50mph out of the truck..and no real loss of acceleration
