You still got crank seals and the head to check, but a fuel supply problem seems more likely. Its easiest to check for leaks with a mity vac, and pressurize the engine, and put it under vacuum. Typically this is one of the first things I used to suggest but most don't have access to the tools to do the testing.
Any way, since your a formula 1 mechanic this carb should be easy as pie for you to disassemble evaluate and put back together. Not a lot going on in there.
 
Since op's truck is so new im curious as to what it could be. A pipe and intake and now its got too much air and not enough fuel ?... @Mdw402 take your carb off and check your intake block that bolts to the head. Make sure the bolts are tight on there
 
Success! I striped the carb off this morning, took the insulator off again, stripped the carb down, I found some bits of what looked like black rubber under where the diaphragm sits, checked the height of that valve with the proper tool, there was also some burrs on the casting where the diaphragm sits so I cleaned all that up too. Also emptied the fuel tank and took the pipes off and blee them all through. Thanks for the help guys
