what is the best way to remove the rubber o ring from the drive cup inside the diff with out destroying the rubber o ring?

Undo the diff . Inside you will find a pin holding the drive cup in. Remove the pin pull out the drive cup. Under the pin is a washer lift it up and uder there youll see the oring lift it out and there you have it

ok thx.pulling the drive cup out with the o ring attached will this damage the o ring/

No i just rebuilt my diff this morning all good it just slips on

just pull the drive cup out and the o ring will come off with out getting damaged right?

Your truck is brand new

going to change out some parts and up grade the diff fluds to a different weight.

I know what the diff looks like all apart only thing I am concerned about is getting the rubber o ring out with out damageing it.

Hi there.What diff fluid weight are you going to try out. Did 100k front 500k center 100k rear in my mtxl man what difference. But don't know what to use in the 5t .I'm not racing just bashing.

I am using 30 in the center and 10 front and rear if that helps.
