Hi recently got a traxxa spartan boat what size lipo would you recommend it’s currently got two 5500mah 6s thinking for longer run times?and can you suggest some good brands to go with thanks

If you are running those in parallel you're maxed out for that boat. I would say just have fun with it.
 
Honestly I have no Idea. On my Proboat Zelos Twin36, I run 4, 3s batteries 2 per motor in series to get 6s and get maybe 10 to 15 minutes. It all depends on how hard you run the boat.

I don't know how much experience you have with electrics but make sure you don't run those 6s batteries in series. That would make them 12s and you would burn the esc and motors out pretty quick. From what I read about your boat the max it can handle is 6s. It’s 2 3s batteries so to get 6s they must be wired in series then? Is that correct?
