Modified rc center diff instructions wrong

If I knew I had disassemble the center diff cup to change bearings I would have got a locker and been done.Now my cars in a 1000 pcs and I don't have diff oil.What's best center locker?

I'm sure glad we only did one car at a time.I can't remember where some of the screws go,especially after a night of sleep.

I would personally go with 1’mill maybe even 2’mill diff oil before I drop a diff locker ??‍
BUT DDM has a couple lockers on their site, check em out ??

I want this to be the last time tearing center apart.So if I get the steel locker sm190 all I need?

That looks like a modified Rc diff mount ???
If so, changing the diff in the near future will be a breeze compared to now ??

and that will work but you need to make sure you have a matching vertigo spur gear

there is no such thing as " last time " in 1/5 scale ????

Yes it is,so you don't put the stock back on.

Run a locker in the center. I have always in the centers with no issues. Worst case scenario is pin wear will increase, but if your going to run 1 or 2 mill fluid your going to have that anyways

if so do I need anytthing besides the sm190 and the gear?

I run the Team Chase center damper unit on my 5iveT. Supposed to be a little less stress on the drivetrain than a full locker.

Hey the instructions are wrong,say custom bearing is marked with zip tie and has thinner inner race...I call bs,which is it.
Both kits were the same thick race bearing marked as custom bearing,
If I didin't have 2 kits I wouldn't have noticed
Any ideas?

I honestly didnt even look at the race when building it. I just used the one with the zip tie where they said to use it??‍

Just change the bearings few months back??
