I have sell severall numbers of these chassis.
All the chassis come from Siggi from Alu Tec.
I still have no problems seen or heard.
I also using the XL 535 chassis of Alu Tec.
And also I have no problems to ride with these chassis.

Maybe you have a wrong suspension adjustment.
This demolition each chassis in offroad driving.

I have yet another XL chassis from siggi in order for someone.

Can you show us pictures from your car and the damage?

Hi Ron, i have sent a pic of the damage to the alloy chassis, i only use the car on road so no jumping or anything like that

I won the 2011 outlaw class at my local track setting a new track record at the same time, i would of won the 2012 season also but the chassis failed 4 race meeting before the end so ended up losing it due to no chassis
( i was leading at the point the chassis failed)

Glad to here he is still making chassis, siggi said he would send me 2x replacement alloy chassis but since November he has been saying he has a shoulder injury and cant make anything, now nearly 4 months later i have accepted the fact that im not getting the chassis or my £200 back

there is a picture on oddifieds website of me and my friends son under results just after we won 2011 so we know what we are doing and im still using the same beetle shell which is now 2 years old and the car is used every Saturday and Sunday so as you can tel i do not crash that often, some of the guys at the track be leave i use a gyro because they cant understand how i keep this car doing lap after lap without spinning out

http://www.oddified.com/results.php

but back to the pic as you can see to Ron this is a bit strange for the chassis to fall in half like that don't you think?

thanks again Ron

Interesting this.
I've often wondered about getting a 535 for my FG MT.
Hobbythek list longer side braces now - main reason for not considering one before - to bolt onto the engine.

Al.

al im really considering the 535mm chassis for the bug mate and same as you now fg are doing there own sides and chassis it makes good sense shame theres no easy way to get wider wishbones the uppers aint a problem

Yeah, the lack of suspension travel compared to my Mental Maxx (trust me on that - using 6S and a Castle XL2 with nanotech 65/130C batteries ..... ballistic!!) and my LST2 is a tad embarrassing really - should be better.

Al.

FG have already a XL chassis.
But this chassis is not as nice as the Alu Tec one.
Alu Tec has 5 mm thick chassis in instead of the 4 mm of FG.
The back is very important.
The holes for the arms are quickly tearing out from the FG chassis.
At Alu Tec is there more aluminium which prevent them from tearing out.
The chassis is wider from this point.
An more upgrades when you look good at the chassis.
The XL FG sideplates will not fit on the 2 wheel drive.
Other place of the front shocktower is the reason.
