Man,that's looking great. I ordered one of those mecatech brake systems also. I have not yet got to install it due to my back surgery but it looks like a fantastic system. Please keep us informed on your first impressions on the system once you get it up and running.

Hi Ron, I thought I'd post this photo - not because your pipe work is wrong, just as an alternative.

Nice pipe work,,,,,
You got the brake caliper way around behind the sprocket.
Therefore, I have too little space.
My homemade adapter for mounting it, have no more space.

There is again a bunch of self created parts on this car.

Hi Ron, its Michael in the UK with the black beetle, how are you, just wondering if you make any long wheel base chassis.

I bought 2 from alu-tec but both failed, a makrolon one which just snapped in half after 30mins or so of use just from driving, no crashes it just snapped.

The other alloy one i purchased also fell apart after an hour, the whole alloy piece running down the sides of the chassis which you screw the side rails to just fell off.

Siggi said it was damaged in the press but is 100% ok but was not, since this happened in November i have not been able to use my car and I have had difficulties in having them warranted by him due to poor communication and never ending excuses on his side so am left with no choice but to seek another path before converting back to standard.

If you can supply me with one i would be very grateful or if you know of someone else who can make similar that would also be fine.

Thanks for your time Ron
Michael
