Ron everything looks great. I can't wait to see what this turn into. Did you think about rounding the edges of the rear arms at an angle like the elcon parts?

No, the edges of the arms are not getting rounded.

I had a set of these on my old savage and they were not the best, I changed them for a set of adjustable lst alloy ones with i believe hotpower 8lb springs (stiffer than the rcraven ones i had before??)
I don't know if they'll be up to the job on the fg, I know forum member craigrobbo put them on an fgbaja and got them to work you could send him a pm to see how he made out with them

integy

I have seen this already here one this forum.
It's nice!!!!!!:cool2:bling bling!!!!

Here in the netherlands ride many cars with this set of shock from Integy and also the LST adjustable shocks.
By both of het shocks you must chance de shock oil into the shock oil from FG.
Oil 1000 for the front and 2000 or 2500 for the rear shocks.
This will give you a smooth ride and also a good handling.

And when they not work nicely, then I make new shock pistons.

The time that I have needed to create them considering not at the price I must aske for these parts.
I have 1 set of XL arms extra.

I go in the front suspension something to changed.
I want the spring in the middle of the carrier and have to go a couple of new feet milling.
And a few pieces to help the spring under the damperbridge to places.

hi ronw well this i missed real nice work you got going on there are you near almelo me im in Den Haag i busy with my mt to but not as far as you have gone as i don't have the tools for the my turing my mt 1:6 to 1:5 scale i did this about a year ago with fg baja so i thought id do it with my fg mt we will have to get together some time as i would like to see this baby in real :cool2::2guns:

Xl/XL

So a small update on this side ,,,,,,,,

I have a few small shockholder machined to exactly the standard holes in the carrier line.
I have the arm in exactly the same height as the original and with maximum travel.

IMG_0878.jpg

IMG_0889.jpg

I am also in the back lot to fit with the length of the shock absorbers.
What ideas i have made from Losi850 (www.rcbigscaleforum.nl) I almost put it in the same place, not only to the carrier but with a few pins milled and a homemade shock supportkit, it all just fits.
I have 2 recessed M4 imbusjes the tapered side of the lathe turned off, it seems now like a nail.
This is on the shock foot screwed in new supportkit.
The flat head is very close to the upright pen.
Again exactly the same ride height as the original but again with maximum travel of the Integy shocks.
The best I think that the butterfly it has remained intact.
Yet I will another shockfeet on the shocks, same as Elcon also used.
These are the Igus EBRM-04.
If they are mounted, the spring dish comes free of the carrier.
