There is 2 if them. 1 is a onb reed 34. The other one is a 55 Taylor.this has to be the sickest 5t i ever seen.. this is why i like looking at other builds!! give me an idea on what can be done to these... very nice man!!
I was about to ask!! Wasn’t sure if you didn’t like the obr then switched to the big bore. How do you like the obr34ssThere is 2 if them. 1 is a onb reed 34. The other one is a 55 Taylor.
Thanks. They are fun to build.
I put an obr 30.5 in my Baja 5b what an animal. I thought the 34 would be crazy but I guess in a 4x4 it takes a bit more to move itI thought it would be more powerful. The 55 has tons of power.
Yes it’s heavy. Just doesn’t have the torque. I might put it into another hpi 5t I have an esp 27.2 in. That’s a screamer!I put an obr 30.5 in my Baja 5b what an animal. I thought the 34 would be crazy but I guess in a 4x4 it takes a bit more to move it
So let’s just say.. what if I ran the 32 or put a 35 in the five-t? What would you suggest for a good pipe?Yes it’s heavy. Just doesn’t have the torque. I might put it into another hpi 5t I have an esp 27.2 in. That’s a screamer!
It’s a big commitment lol if I do it I can’t turn back so I’m kinda making a list and checking it twice. If you have the money to put a big bore into a 5ive t do it other wise you'll regret the small blocks unless you race or are just content, but it doesn't seem you'll be content with a small block tho.
It all depends on what you want. Small bore and big bore are two completely different animals! I thought by buying a 50Gt it would still be on the smaller size. Once it arrived I realized how big of a difference it was.If you have the money to put a big bore into a 5ive t do it other wise you'll regret the small blocks unless you race or are just content, but it doesn't seem you'll be content with a small block tho.

There is 3 different strokes they start at
40 can change pot for a 55
46 can change pot for a 65
50 can change pot for a 71

I wish I wouldn’t have wasted so much money on small bore “magic” looking for more power. It’s just not there.
I agree , I’ve went all around not trying to buy a big block even had a Rovan 71 built ,,,ported/ Reed but you know the saying Big Boys with big toys , here I come Taylor RCIt all depends on what you want. No more sending a rig 15 feet into the air. It’s not made for that! A big bore changes everything , center of gravity, handling etc. if you want to tear up grass and do burnouts, wicked launches etc on flat ground go big block.
If you want to toss a rig through the air on big or off camber jumps, etc stay small block.
In 1/5 scale class there is no middle ground.
