Well, bad news. I broke my arm :( It is very hard to fix on my car now. Maybe after a week or so I can start fixing and drving my car again.

So there won't be any updates the next few days :P

Thats bad luck...:w00t:

You will find a way to do some minor bits...
amazing what you can do when boredom sets in...

hope it heals quick for you

Yeah bad luck mate. Fix the steering to full lock then use your good hand to drive round in circles - jobs a good un :lol:

Thanks for the support :) I will try to put my car back together but it is very hard. I still can hold the controller with both my arms :) but i can't brake :P So if I put the car together I will try to run it :lol::lol:

Well, amazingly enough I managed to re assemble the car back :D Maybe I will take it for a run tommorrow, but I am not so sure ;)

Well, I was out with my car again :D It was alot of fun!

Well here are the pictures :D I found out that something broke again. It was th servo saver pivot again!!! Anyways, it is very cheap to buy so I am going to order one again.

looking as it should...well used

if you are breaking the same thing over and over you need to start looking into why?

is it a problem on the car or is it your driving style?

I guess you must be hammering the wheels hard to transfer the shocks back through the steering pivot..is the pivot screwed in top and bottom ?

have a good look over the car to see if anything else is mis-aligned and causing you to damage the steering pivot...

also are you running it without the front cage section as this part really does help to stiffen the front end ...

I run with the rollcage, but not everytime (I ran with the rollcage this time though.). But i think the front is bent in the front becouse when i mount that bracket in front I have to use some force becouse it is not properly aligned. I also ran into a stone that maybe caused the pivot to break.

I always run with the front cage fitted and I also keep my cage fitted tight as I feel it helps with the handling...

If you lay the chassis flat the front should be kicked up by 24mm at the very front...

hopefully you have just been unlucky in breaking the same part twice.

Your chassis looks like it could be slightly bent just in front of the fuel tank. The slight buckling to the plastic side rails is a give away. This could also mean that the kick up at the front is also slightly out from a front end impact. If it is, the pin through the ally brace and servo saver could already be under stress before you start hammering it round the field (or pit!) meaning it will break without much added stress from normal running. Put a straight edge front to back on the under side of chassis to check!

Just been looking at your pics again and have to agree with dwarfy....

oh and its filthy.......(at least we know its being used)...
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Haahahah.. :)

I am ordering the pivot and then trying to bend the chassis making it a perfect fit :D Does anyone know how many degrees the front is?

Look back at my post #51........:w00t::w00t::w00t:

lay the chassis flat and it should measure 24mm....easier than trying to get it right in degrees......

Hmm, okay I will try to lay it flat, but do I need another bracket in the front or is it just to bend this too? And will the roll cage still fit?

The ally brace should be ok mate. Roll cage is design to fit a straight chassis out of the factory so should be fine.
