I did have about 6 onroad cars at one time. Nitro of course. I do like the on road and maybe its not a bad idea to have one of each. But I do have a set of hostile slicks for the 5t ?

Rcmax has em, and so does cardinal racing in canada so it's not that hard to get. And those cars are extremely reliable
Ive gone through the European route before with my marder. Ddm is basically the go to but even they don't have everything. Then you gotta buy from hobbythek and that's expensive. If I was euro it be contrast or rs5 (I think I'm getting that wrong)

These are bad a$$

How's the platform? What are we looking at with speed? If I go onroad it would be a speed run type of deal as again no tracks. Nj sucks our idea of fun is the beach apparently. Anything inland is really whatever you make of it

Oh your in NJ! Wagner park rc track my man. They come out here and our crew goes there.
Everyone runs the sportslines. Solid car for our needs. We ain't in any grand euro competitions. You'll eventually make it into a evo 2020 as you upgrade. Platform is tough and proven. Maybe nothing crazy like a contrast or rs5 but it'll get you over 80mph if that's what you want. Again though, all the good upgrades are gonna be purchased from hobbythek just remember... Like diffs, servo plates ect...

I'll have to check that out. I would like to race one of my rigs. 80mph on a 5th scale sounds fast enough for me if I want it to survive lol. And I honestly think I'm going to buy the fg ive always been attracted to the on road. I love my 5ive t but it would be nice to have a change of surface platform

If you have any interest in f1 I have a Sportsline I'm looking to sell. I would recommend against it but if you like f1 the wagner crew runs them too.

It's ok, 70 really isn't that fast anyways. I've seen fgs do over 100mph

F1 is cool ive always had a wondering eye toward the sport. Awesome cars and the sound is amazing. Send me some pics of it. This buy is all based at on the end of January tho
