Yeah I though it was missing a seal too cheers renbar I will tear it down and c will post pic up 2 so it will help other people....
 
thats not suppose to happen, a good quality double sealed bearing will not do that. something by NTN or NSK. both very good bearings, used these for many years. I'd just swap them out.

yeah that's the same way the new 4 bolt Zenoah's are 2 normal bearings and a 3rd is a sealed one but ive seen a couple on threads now with the 3rd bearing causing grief,most of the tuners remove the bearing anyway and fit a seal like on my oddie 29 zen

got any pics of the head porting the bottom end looks great im a big fan of the ts engines they look great there just so bloody expensive
 
Mine 4 bolt too I haven't no pic of the top didn't think to take a pic of it I've sealed it up now ready to go in the car tomorrow lol next time I ave it off I'll take a pic lol... So glad it was just that n nothink else easy fix man lol
 
Looking nice mate we get it started tomorrow see wot it sounds like and fingers crossed there won't be no leaks this time
 
the pipe looks good.is the ts ported? if not look into yamafied (yamadude) his work will turn a ts into a monster, a level above most common tuned motors.
 
Yeah it is ported think standed I'll see how it goes first... Then I mite think about yam porting is he in England ??? I'll get sum vids up today

might be worth getting those rear inserts taped up and maybe some silverback rc beadlocks and screws cause that's going to love ballooning those up just like mine does only I can go in a straight line nearly lol
 
goes well mate. my favourite gears for my obr fg was 22/42 on grass with a 18layshaft, I would swap between the ddm dom and jetpro depending on what is wanted.my fg would pull those gears easy and well over 50mph. check my videos on youtube (fg obr top speed) is an animal. had to get the wheelybar to be able to run wot.
onroad with small wheels I use 26/38 18 lay and 45 diff, alll changed for high speed.i have30/34 but could only run that with grp onroads and had to use a oddie 10, 000rpm clutch to get it going but that was just for 75mph speed runs.

tbh 26/38 would be too tall for grass, even with that ts engine.although it is badass and am jealous I don't have one in my fg;).
 
Yeah renbar me n vedron would b happy to do that the more of us the better lol.... The car a beast now should of got a ts ages ago I'm well plsed wiv it. I'm gonna give the other gears ago too just to c how it goes also had to cut lots off my shell too.. Looks gd now so will leave it as it is :lol:
