Ya that light kit is sweet. I won't be as advanced with tail and brake lights but will still look cool. even a couple strips of metal will make a good trigger off the servo. I considered making a plug for my lights off the lipo's balance tap but that just unbalances the battery. so the nmh can mount inside somewhere. no room in the battery box but I have lots of room down by the mudguard. I am taking the 2 new rims and tires with me to work to glue up tonight. monster tires...
a friend and old rc buddy lives a Province over just dropped me a line. He's moving back and wants to buy my 3rd 5th scale and come run with us. That'll be cool as we used to run the nitro bikes together. we run the bikes and cars at the same places so it'll make it much better. and I was about to convert it to brushless for a winter project...
my 1:1 car passed aircare and is insured for another year (aircare good until 2011). another load off my mind. business license renewal too. it all comes at the same time for me.
anyway. I am going to work on the body some. getting it mounted will motivate me to get it painted and the maintenance done. I've been watching some airbrush tutorials and want to try some stuff out. the water drop thing looks so cool to me
