Im using a 5000mah & it easy lasts for longer than I bash for. Worth investing in a decent battery or have a back-up to change when you are out.
 
Will look out for one on flee bay. : ). What do you run Al and were do you keep it , a friend of mine said it would sieze up if in shed or garage , having to keep it in garage , cold but dry ..

It's only generally smelly if it's enclosed and hot - tank will be venting to atmosphere.
If the storage area is cooler, well ventilated, and secure then it's fine - still got to 'protect that investment'.

Hey, I've just noticed my MT has no antenna ( can't see one in the reciever box ) , the guy I got it off said he ran it with no probs as it is , its 2.4 GHz . Should still have one right. ? ?

Mine are kept in the house and I don't find them too smelly. In a dry shed or garage should be ok provided everything is lubed up where necessary if left for long periods.
 
That's cool, ill just make sure I start it at least once a week to stop from seizing. : ). You must have more tolerant missus than I do. : ( LOL . What do u think of antenna situation ..

Do you mean that the Rx DOES have the antenna wire, but that it's stuffed inside the Rx box, or that there's no wire at all coming out of the Rx?

If it's in the Rx box, it'll probably work, but I believe it is beter to fit at least a limited tube, or simply run the wire out.

Both my FG MT and my 1/5 have no holes and simply have the Rx antenna wires pulled through the top of their respective Rx boxes.

I can't see a wire at all bud , only things in receiver box are RX and failsafe , can't see a antenna wire .. I know 2.4ghz don't need as longer ariel but can't see a wire at all . :(
