I have a full plastic design as well. Depending on how much pressure and heat the materials endure is depending ill move forward with that. I had felt as if this particular design was a bit small but then I thought this reed was designed to be used with 62cc engines so it should be fine.

Uh oh. I just noticed something while installing parts on my new engine. Think that may be too much of a gap?

After measuring it it seems to be about .008
