My OCD scatterbrain dabbles on many different things for no real set periods of time. Most of which I eventually return to. Here is my list time and/or money pits;
- martial arts, I started with eskrima/kali since I was a kid, mainly/loosely based on the panantukan style otherwise known as Filipino Dirty Boxing. The last time I was jumping on this forum a few years ago, I started to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I did that a few months, then BAM!!! Pandemic LOCK DOWN.

- I will always be into building, driving and racing old air-cooled VWs. I still have my first car, 1967 VW Beetle I bought and started building when I was 13. I ended up getting that car running and racing in high school. Over the years I have purchased a couple more, another '67 VW Beetle and a '55 VW Beetle. I rarely drive these as the engines I built was mainly for non ethonal 92 octane. I only have access to non ethonal 89 octane. Since the pandemic, our race track was closed, so many racers were not making large orders of race fuel to split the cost of shipping and Hazmat fees. Expensive hobby.

- I may have a few guns. I may have a few popular US black rifles set up in many different configurations and calibers. I may have a few popular Austrian black pistols in different configurations and calibers as well. I may also have different older US rifles that was used in wars in the previous century. I think this hobby is expensive.

- gaming, I'm not much of a "gamer", but I do play just 1 game. New game drops today, I may be locked on that for a while.

- surfing, kite-boarding, 'foiling and stand up paddle boarding. Been playing in these waves since I was a kid. When the pandemic started, living here on Maui, the ocean was legal to venture to, but the actual beach was a no-go. I was doing whatever was available; no wind, no waves = SUP; small waves = 'foiling; average waves = surfing. windy = kite-boarding.

Well, I have plenty of hobbies.
