Today gonna mix a fresh gallon of fuel and oil for my Raminator. I am gonna use the last of my mix I have to fill my Raminator tank until I run it tomorrow. My neighbor is like that is a bad idea as the fuel will loose octane....

I told dude he had one to many to drink, as one night in a plastic gas tank is going to do nothing. Heck I store my mixed fuel in a gallon jug for a month at a time sometimes. Never had an issue. Key is to keep it cool and out of direct sun light.

Why are people so adamant about myths around fuel. I could see long term storage of course being bad...but one night with a full fuel tank is not gonna do anything lol...people. 🤦‍♂️
 
I'm too dumb to understand the witchcraft but I practice in it. If I have any left over from the previous week it all gets put into a 5gal container for the weedwackers. I'll dump a 1/3 of a tank so I have a fresh mix instead of adding 2/3 more oil & gas.... If it wasn't for the extra ummph I get from that and the yellow on my wheels I'd be 11 laps behind guys like @misterleon instead of 3-4 (y) :LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:

Isn't that the base of information that you would find in literature and schooling as they "parrot" the information from the source? One person's experience turns into information that then turns into other people's experiences that they have had happen to themselves which then is shared beyond the origin of the creator of the knowledge . So your jab is invalid

don't have this issue.. use alkylate fuel.. 4 year shelf life.. it's the same stuff as Coleman white gas in the USA..
Doesn't go off. Doesn't stink and no ethanol. Its just pure petrol.. none of the pump sheite added
