Problem starting 5T

Hello, got a used 5t a month ago ran great now problems. I changed plug, new air filter and new fuel filter. Now I got fuel coming out the air filter. Any thoughts?

Sounds like time for a carb cleaning.

Didn’t put carb on backwards. Took carb apart last time out. The screen in bottom was packed with sand. It ran ok for the rest of playtime. Wondering if I need a new carb

If you got sand into the carb your clunk is either shot or not there, the fuels coming out of the venturi is a bit odd, I must admit I've not had that issue my self..... I would check your clunk (in tank) . make sure you don't have your lines on backwards on the carb as it will run depending on how far down the return sticks in the tank, and would explain how sand got sucked up into the carb.

When cleaning the carb did you take the primer bulb assembly apart? I've never actually worked on this carb or motor but it sounds like the primer valve may have been flipped if thats at all possible. Same line of thinking as flipping fuel lines.

He float was stuck. Truck still didn’t start bad coil ?. I ordered a new carb and coil to be safe. Hopefully will start this weekend when parts arrive
