Question about throttle linkage

Is anyone here who’s purchased an OBR reed valve engine able to tell me if there’s any special modifying I’ll need to do when I mount the throttle linkage to a reed valve? I’m supposed to be getting my engine soon but just want to be sure there’s no extra stuff I’ll need to mount the throttle linkage properly, I just know the carb is at a way different angle and was kind of worried about that

Nope. No mods needed. The reed case is such that the throttle is in more or less the same position as the piston port version. You will likely need to adjust your collars and endpoints, but that's about it.

Hmmm I didn't know this. I installed the Yamadude Throttle linkage in mine when I did mine.

That was the first hpi I bought?? ran it just like that with a zen 32. Then it morphed into this????????
