One more thing get gaffer tape and put it on the inside of the shell where the side pods touch it will stop the paint wearing off like this

It's not a hard to mod it to fit, if I remember correctly it needs opened up to 3/4" hole.

Think if you had to a course, round hand file will do it. I drilled mine, but I had a big enough drill bit.

update, I got a v-stack and its drilled out, LHS pre drilled when I told them I was picking one up.
Doug, if you don't mind can you post some pics with your body on with the filter (from the top and side). The 2003 still wont fit, and we have the same filter, v stack, and body. The short stack isnt as bad, but still not perfect.
Heres a vid, I filmed it horizontal, but youtube is being annoying so, LMK if you guys need me to retake it.

Mine is with the triple dome with an outerwears tucked under the clamp
Its not perfect but close enough for me cant send pics as im not home for a few more days
