Detroit gave me a killer deal on my package for sure nothing against Mike he is a great guy to talk to and he really goes out of his way for you so you can't go wrong either way.

I think I'm going to make a order soon $1900 saved so far might do it after I sell the F1. Plus haven't seen any used deals that entice me. Going for the 71 but considering the 50 because I'm going to also need a engine for the Vekta.
Yeah I haven't received mine yet and I am looking around for an MCD haha this is getting carried away.I am up for a promotion at work so that may help haha
I blame Lance lol his MCD really made me want to get one of my own.Those damn things are expensive though and I usually like to buy new so I am going to shell out a nice chunk of cash.

You definitely do, I know that Rovan stuff has little to no resale value probably hard to get rid off when you don’t want it anymore

I didnt the mcd was expensive for what you get. I was looking at the rr5 before I decided on the vekta build. Prolly have close to the same in either if you were staying small bore. Well really big bore as well. The lost of stuff to keep the vekta working adds up quick, from what I've been seeing.

40gt is a 55 supreme
46gt is a 65 supreme
50gt is a 71 supreme
So they all can be upgraded

Depends on the bore and stroke, and if the top end will physically bolt to the case. Top rod diameter would play a roll as well, but would be interesting to know.

The 50gt as 71s do share the same stroke. So this may not be far from true.

Super pleased to announce that we have started shipping our new updated range of Big Bore engines with the V2 Crankcases and Ignition System. (As if RCMAX Engines werent already awesome enough!!)
Multiple small tweaks internally to the case plus the sweet V2 Oppama Ignition for improved spark, lower weight overall and of course typical Japanese reliability!
We have also found a few ways to improve our already world class 5-axis machining on the case exteriors.
