Well since the paint job on my xcr is just absolutely hideous and I'm kind of embarrassed to drive it around I decided to take a crack at making it look a little bit better LOL. I have to pre-order clear panels from DDM because they don't keep them in stock so in the meantime after several attempts of trying to remove the OEM paint from the inside of the shell (nitro fuel, dot4, stripper, brake clean, and everything else in the shop) I got pissed off and decided just to shoot some Automotive base coat clear coat on the outside. It'll do for now until I can order another clear body and do it right. Here's a couple pics..ohh and i added wideners too.

Lookin' real good!

I'm surprised the ole' DOT 3 didn't dissolve that paint though. Did you leave it on long enough? It took about 10 hours to dissolve my 5T body paint, and quite a bit of scrubbing.
It was the carbon fiber graphics that were like etched in the lexan that wouldn'tcome off..its like they were dip or heat press graphics or something..the actual paint came off quite easy...
