Make sure your brake cam moves freely and doesn't have any dirt or gunk built up around it, and they will wear in a bit with use. I had a similar problem with the brake set up in my dbxl when I replaced the brakes the first time. They wore in after a bit of running. Ymmv

Baja right?? at the back of your brake linkage there is a tensioner ??back it off.
Also you have to make use of the original brake shoe that goes on the cam side you have to remove the pad on it?? if you have don all that , like sean said make sure the cam is in right and moves freely ?? should be sorted after that.??

Follow what the other guys mention to get it smooth. If it doesn't work, or you are confused about how it should look, I can provide a short vid of my setup to give you a visual starting point.
It looks like your pad that the cam pushes on is to thick, is that an alloy pad?
@Sweetlou0069 from the other thread it looks like you got them working right. Did you take care of the binding issue?
Yeah, Lou's pad looks like it came from the FFRC carbon brake kit. I had the same before I upgraded to the RCR kit. It can still be made to work, just needs to be ground down some.
