I used to live off of 5 hr energy and amp energy drinks.... if your not used to the suck of driving half asleep I'd 100% skip it. Hard enough for me to stay awake when I have a 10:30 rig then have to start inspections at 1:00 if we finished the rig by then.

I used to do it a lot when I was snowboarding. But that was a couple years ago. I’m not worried about the drive there, more so Sunday evening on the way home. I know my limits though and would have no problem sleeping on the side of the road

It’s rare to have off on a day when the tracks near me are racing. If I’m able to go then I want to make it happen

As someone that does a bunch of mtk kamikaze trips a yr I'll say it's gonna be a rough day. The ride home will blo and the next day if you gotta get up before 1pm will blo. Should consider renting a hotel there for Sunday will make the trip more enjoyable. Get to telly at 330-4am sleep til 8 or whatever, race and spend the night in NH.

You can also run a larger servo but it’s not needed. A high quality servo with this dimensions is more than enough

For the money a hillantronics 8000 is the better option [email protected] volts vs 1209 for the speky. The speky costs nearly $50.00 more for an extra 120 ish oz in..... not worth it imo.

I'd do it, I'm used to no sleep. Personally I'd load up the night before if possible, come home sleep for as long as possible and take off. Sleep on side of road if needed for a bit to recharge on way home. Not difficult, just have to know when to stop and not push your limits

I’ve had a couple buddies that weren’t happy with the circuit board on the 8000 they can’t handle the abuse apparently. it’s also way faster than the 8000. The 8000 is strong but moves like a slug

Yea it’s a good servo, but seeing my buddy get kicked out of a race a couple weeks in a row do to the same problem with the circuit board kinda turned me off to them. I will say that I ran the silver hilly in my losi truck and it was definitely strong and had no reliability issues they are slow though because they weren’t designed to be a competition servo
