I never had ay either ,but ,I am not building ,an I pretty much can diagnose any problems ,been doing it too many years!

I have a pretty crappy digital calipers, but that's just not gonna cut it.

I hate digital calipers coz batteries go flat a dial is much better?

I mean technically it's not digital anymore, that part of it was ass so I took the sceen thingy off and now it's a anolog calipers. Still need to get a proper set.

I have manual ,but I cant see the numbers any more ,I wouldn't be surprised ,if they have some that record data ,an then
be down loaded on a PC!

You need those talking kind ,that tells you that the compression is GONE ,throw it away now!.....LOL

Think that's the model up from mine. Didnt need the data out put. Same resolution. Even my 0-1 micrometer is digital. Same deal good to .0005". Wouldnt trade them for any other.
