Seal-All as gasket maker?

Can I use seal-all as a gasket? Nowhere does it directly say it’s a gasket maker but it does say that it’s gasoline, oil, and heat resistant. I’m not positive on it and don’t want to risk anything so thought I’d ask here. It's an adhesive, I wouldnt trust it by itself as a gasket. What are you trying to seal?

nothing currently, I just wanted to have some ready for my new engine for if I ever need to take apart the crankcase or remove the transfer ports. Which you’re right I probably shouldn’t trust it

There are several sealants made for two stroke engines. You need to remember that a two stroke needs to seal under pressure and vacuum. Dirko HT, honda bond, and three bond, (there are a few others) are all common, amd specifically made for this task. Specifically for sealing the jug to the case, I reccomend loctite 518, or similar. The above mentioned can be used as well, but must be used sparingly, as you don't want to squid any of the sealer into the crank case. A tube lasts a long time of stored properly, and most are readily available on line, or at a local stihl dealer(dirko HT), or motor cycle shop (honda bond/three bond). So I wouldnt typically suggest keeping a tube on hand until you need it.

Redbreast is an excellent choice! ? If you like that, I would recommend Balvenie Doublewood. It's fantastic and at the same price point as RB.

Very. It's a Scotch, so it's a little more full bodied than RB, but there's no peat at all. It has a lot of caramel and stone fruit notes. It doesn't have the throat burn that a lot of hotter whiskies have, especially if you add a rock or two and a splash of water. It's a pretty choice drop if you can find it locally. Any whisky pub should have a bottle on the shelf.
