Shock question

What king of shocks are you guys running that would work on a hpi 5sc. Also how is everyone setting them up, springs, oil, travel hight ect, ect ect. I don't race, not by choice just no track around so mostly bashing.

This is my setup, for jumping and general bashing . Works good for me.
Rear:
2 hole pistons, ddm lower stiff springs, stock upper springs, and 37.5wt oil

Front:
2 hole pistons , stock springs, and 40wt oil.

Theres no rhyme or reason for how I set my rig up, I initially set it to whatever I thought felt good last season, and just changed stuff as I saw fit and that is my final setup

QQ, I’ve never built or used the IRC big bores. What method do people use to fill and bleed them, is it the same as the Fast Eddy bleeder caps?

Are there bleeder caps on Losi shocks?

Just looked and the tube and Fast Eddy didn’t have bleeder caps on Losi shocks he builds. Also is there a diaphragm on the IRCs. I don’t want to open the packet yet to check.

I have 2 sets, one I inherited and another I bought brand new. I’ve never had them apart I’ll figure it out though.

I’m guessing there is no diaphragm otherwise what’s the point of the bleed screw.

Exactly, if you have diaphragm then I’m not sure how that would work.
