Should work great. I use that on my full size cars hydraulic cylinders. However never used it on RC. don't know why just never thought about it. I just use a lil bit of shock oil at assembly. Done that since 1990 w no issues lol.

What is that thing for? Don't the o-rings get lubed by the same oil in the shock?

The green slime is typically used for the orings on the assembly process and it helps them be more slidey .I have ruined orings before inserting the shaft in the hole not using lube.
But seriously im being serious and talking about shock assembly.
