You should send one to me so it gets use. You can pick what one. I promise to treat it like a 1/5 scale deserves to be treated. Ill send it back for a refresh in winter.?????????is what i have to say ???
I don't think you have the lowest budget. You built some high dollar kit compared to most of us. My MTXL has a $130 losi pipe, thats it. Dbxl doesn't have anything too fancy or expensive either. No crazy engines anyway. They're too expensive for me.I done sent it in the rain and quartentine with the lowest budget in all of us, so yeah Doug, bunch of excuses ??
They don't have to be money pits. My mtxl is years old, and the losi pipe is all its gotten, and didnt need it. Other than that just consumables like bearings and such. My dbxl could've been the same. But I chose to dump money into it. Still have almost every stock part.Long time lurker in here. Fly rc planes/helis and thinking about getting a 1/5 car. To me it sounds like the cars and helis might be cheaper to maintain than the big cars! Sobering thread indeed! but what the heck, can't take it with you.
