Steering servo issues baja 5t

Hello all,

I have a slight issue with the steering servo which makes a funny noises like a rattle snake well something that way...it struggles to turn the wheels, it flipped over not really hard hence the problem. Any ideas? I will take the steering box apart to see if anything is wrong inside.

Stripped out. The stock servos suck.
Or servo saver broke.

I’m a hitec fan. Especially the high voltage ones. You can run Lipo on them worry free. I also use the hitec 7954hv servo on the throttle-brake. Good stuff.

I run savox in all my rigs, never had an issue. The HV rated ones don't have issues running 7.4 volts.

Will I be able to run my 6 v volts batteries with the hitec HS 5765. I’m poop with electrics !

Yes but Torque/speed rating #s go down some. Lipo advantage more power and linear power delivery for longer time.

Hello all,

Following on from the previous post, I just reviewed the new steering servo but when once all is installed it makes a small buzzing noise please see the pictures to understand more there is plenty. I have done the hand receiver to all the factory setting. Also I will buy a new brace to hold the servo in place as it didn't come with one weird. I fixed it to the left of the car if that helps maybe it has to be centered.... any thoughts..

Dose it buzz when it not connected to the bellcranck?
That's normal and the servo may just be trying to center itself ??

Just before putting the final screw in place no noise it’s when I fix the last screw. It seem it’s not centered...

What screws?‍ the one that hold the servo in the radio tray?

I could only fix 2 screws as I need a spacial brace
Me thinks I did a small mess up, tomorrow I will try again..

What the hell is going on here.. something not right when trying to steer it. It sounds like it being forced when I try and turn it. Full left turn seems ok but full right turn doesn’t want to turn complete. Thoughts.
New servo and holding frame installed. Ok I have ordered a new arm the one you see is just a temporary measure..
